K-Fest is an annual celebration of the town of Kinnelon and is open to all students and residents who want to celebrate with the local community.

K-Fest will be held on Oct 14, from 1-6 p.m., there will be a variety of vendors, including crafts, food, drinks, and flea-market vendors, as well as a battle of the bands outside of the Kinnelon Public Library. Food and drinks will be available to purchase up through the firework show at 9 p.m.

The residents of Kinnelon are already very excited for all of the games, rides, crafts, and food that will be at this year’s event.

“I’m excited to see all of the vendors and to see all of the businesses represented,” Julia Hackney said.“I thought [last year] was fun. There was a lot to do and it looked like a lot of people from our grade went.”

Senior Olivia Hurtado also shared her thoughts on what she hopes will return to K-Fest. “About two or three years ago there was a petting zoo, and I hope to experience it again at K-Fest 2K17.”
