Just five hours after sending out a letter to the Kinnelon families about the confirmation of two COVID cases at Kinnelon High School, the Kinnelon School District superintendent, Diane DiGiuseppe, sent out another letter stating that there have been additional COVID cases at KHS. Due to this latest discovery, the school administrators at KHS have decided to temporarily close the school through Wednesday, Oct. 14. After investigating the recent COVID cases, the school will decide, based on the findings of the local health department, whether or not to close KHS for an additional 14-day period. As of now, all instruction will be virtual, and all athletics and extracurriculars will be suspended.
