Soon after Zach Bryan released his new album “Zach Bryan” on Aug. 25, 2023, he announced that he would be going on tour, called the “Quittin’ Time Tour”. His tour started on Mar. 5 in Chicago, IL, and will continue until Dec. 19 in Brooklyn, NY. Over the spring and summer, many students at Kinnelon High School have gone, or are planning on going sometime in the future.
Bryan’s tour consisted of songs from all his previous albums, not just his new one. His set list was never published, but a concert goer stayed in the arena and found a piece of paper with the list of songs that Bryan plays for each show. The set list consists of songs from his newest album, “Zach Bryan”, his newest E.P “Boys of Faith”, “Summertime Blues”, and songs from his first album, “DeAnn.”
One of Zach Bryan’s most popular songs “I Remember Everything” featuring Kacey Musgraves, charted No. 12 On Billboard’s Hot 100 and was on his tour set list. Many KHS students say that this was one of the songs they were most excited for.
Sophomore Olivia Torsiello says, “I love all his songs but I Remember Everything’ and ‘Revival’ were the best to see live,”
Torsiello, along with many other students at KHS, previously went to Bryan’s tour when he had a show in Newark, NJ at the Prudential Center on Mar. 15.
Over the summer, and into the fall, Bryan will go on 68 more shows all over America. Some of which students at KHS will be going to.
On Aug. 6-7 he will be touring in Philadelphia, PA. His last two shows of the tour are in Brooklyn, NY on Dec. 18-19 at Barclays Center which some students are planning on going to. Tickets for his tour are available on his “Tour” website.
Average ticket prices range from $114-$495 per person. This hefty price seems worth it according to students who have already gone to Bryan’s concert at The Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. Junior Ali Corrado said, “It was probably one of the best concerts I have ever been to. If not it was definitely up there. It was just really fun.”
Zach Bryan’s tours are known for being lively and fun. At nearly every show he brings a surprise guest along with his whole band that just brings the whole stadium to life. Some of the surprise guests consisted of Kacey Musgraves in Chicago, AJ Dillion, Noah Khan, the War and Treaty, The Lumineers, and many more.
Bryan knows how to put on an entertaining show. Every one of his shows ends with one of his most popular songs “Revival”. The original song is around 4 minutes long, but at the end of each show, he plays the song for over 12 minutes and every minute the crowd gets louder and louder. Sophomore Brayden McCormick says, “Each time he repeated the song I got more and more excited and it got a lot louder in there. It was really cool. I would definitely recommend anyone to go.”
