Although the sisters occasionally fight, the movie centers around family’s importance while exploring gender stereotypes.

“Eight Below,” based on a true story, is a PG film about Jerry Shepard (Paul Walker) and his eight sled dogs. The movie follows the dogs’ struggles to survive the Antarctic winter alone.
“Eight Below” has a 73% on Rotten Tomatoes and won an ASCAP Award for Top Box Office Films. Set in the snowy landscape of Antarctica, “Eight Below” is a great movie to watch when it is too cold to go outside, and rooting for the survival of the dogs is an emotional journey.
