Q: Favorite pair of socks?

Delpiano is known to have an extravagant sock collection and never goes to school wearing a normal pair.

A: “My Chip and Dale Rescue Ranger socks because they remind me of my brother.  I was always the Chip to my Brother’s Dale growing up.”

 

Q: Favorite TV show?

We all know it’s going to be a comedy.

A: “Seinfeld”

                                                                      

Q: Funniest memory while being a teacher?

A: “The completely organic development in one class of a hidden ‘Wall of Shame’ behind a map in a classroom complete with Shame Certificates and Shame Bells that would be sounded upon shame presentation and ceremony.” 

 

Q: Favorite English unit?

A: “Drama Unit: Romeo and Juliet”

 

Q: Favorite Marvel character?

Posters and animations of characters from the MCU are found scattered around Delpiano’s classroom, and cannot be missed upon entering.

Q: Favorite dream vacation spot?

A: “Anywhere with sun, clear water, and white sand.  Perhaps Anguilla. Ryan Stroud makes it sound magical.”

A: “Watchmen and/or To Kill a Mockingbird.”

 

Q: Best gift received from a student?

Wonder how many extra credit points this was worth…

A: “A student-made, hand-forged and torched battle-worn Captain America replica shield.  It was a going away graduation gift from a senior.”

 

Q: Favorite hobby?

A: “Lifting and getting swole, bro!”

 

Q: Favorite song?

A: “Fall Back 2U by Chromeo and Lose Yourself to Dance by Daft Punk featuring Pharrell Williams”
