Mission Statement

Our mission statement comes directly from our code of ethics. As a staff, we strive to begin our search for truth with a neutral, unbiased mind. We research our sources and conduct interviews with varied sources in order to provide our reader with all sides of a story. Through our writing, we hope to engage and inspire our reader to learn and do more, with the goal of creating a cohesive and positive community. We do not own news media but are rather conduits of it. We remain accountable regarding any mistakes we make and will work to print those corrections as soon as we can. We strive to look beyond the likely impacts of each story, in the hopes that we can appeal to not only our community but also others around the world, uniting us all together as human beings desiring change and harmony. Finally, we support the open and civil exchange of views among our writers, as well as our readers.
