The Kinnelon High School bowling team is going to start their season very soon and they will have to get ready for what they’re going to do this winter season.
The team has a strong foundation because last winter they won the state title for the first time in the program’s history. The senior leaders Cooper Kaplan, Tarang Pande, and Nathan Eisenmanger are going to play a major part in the team’s lineup this season.
KBOWL is going to have major holes to fill after losing some key parts of the team. Former team captains Scott Sanczyk and Pratik Patel played major parts on the team last year. The team’s two juniors on the varsity team, Preston Jones and Zakary Kessler, are going to be some of the leaders next year.
Official practice started on Nov. 25. Coach Jim Soules stated, “I think the kids did a great job, they got the most out of their abilities, and brighter things are on the horizon.” With the new lineup, the team will crush it once again in not only the state championship but also the matches that go along with it.
